Second to None: An Indie Guide to Chicago

Back when I thought I was a design blogger, I reviewed many of Chicago’s shops, artists and festivals. As an advocate for the 3/50 project, I’m passionate about supporting local artists and makers and business owners. But I also know that living in a major metropolitan area provides access to a wide variety of artisans and independent boutiques – this access is a privilege I don’t take for granted. I started this series to showcase local, indie businesses living and working in the city I love.

While the direction of my writing has changed, I’ve collected all the Second to None posts here for anyone planning a visit to my favorite windy city.
